What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care on the PCU float pool, including assessments, interventions, and monitoring
- Float to other OSU-affiliated hospitals as needed, within walking distance from the main facility
- Administer medications, IV starts, and facilitate tele monitoring with EPIC experience preferred
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and promptly in electronic health records
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and maintain professional licensure compliance
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with coverage during peak times
What You Need
Required:
- Active Ohio RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- At least 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting (profiles reviewed for less experience)
- Skills in IV start, telemetry, and EPIC systems
Preferred:
- Previous float pool experience
- Ability to adapt quickly to different units and teams
- Strong communication and clinical skills
