What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care to hematology and oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and blood transfusions
- Monitor patients using telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response calls
- Manage IV therapy, including PICC line and peripheral line care
- Assist with special procedures such as tumor lysis syndrome and cytokine release syndrome management
- Maintain infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and blood product administration
Preferred:
- Hematology/Oncology experience
- Oncologic emergencies knowledge
- Certification in ONS or related specialties
