What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to medical-surgical, diabetic, renal, orthopedics, vascular, and wound patients
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and telemetry data using Vital Sync Monitors and Alaris Pumps
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments adhering to safety standards
- Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and discharge planning
- Support patient comfort and safety during overnight shifts
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies including holiday coverage and float responsibilities
What You Need
- Required:
- Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience with Epic EMR
- BLS certification
- Ability to work night shifts and handle a 1:6 patient ratio (1:4 if cardiac drip)
- Preferred:
- NIH & ACLS certifications
