A hospital in the Port Richey, FL area is looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its respiratory care team!

This is a great opportunity to work in an acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center and an established cardiac program!

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, permanent position

• Night shift with rotating weekends

• 290-bed acute care hospital

• Level II Trauma Center

• Comprehensive cardiac and open-heart surgery program

• Collaborative respiratory care team

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and develop individualized respiratory care plans

• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators

• Administer routine and complex respiratory treatments to patients of all ages

• Monitor patient responses and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Current Florida RRT license required

• RRT candidates only — CRTs will not be considered

• Completion of an approved respiratory care program (vocational/technical or Associate's degree)

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within 6 months of hire
