Maryland | Day & Night Shifts | Starting January 2027

Seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for hospital medicine locum tenens opportunities in Maryland. Multiple 12-hour shifts are available, including day and night coverage, with an opportunity for independent practice.

Day Shift

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    

• Collaborative hospitalist team environment

    

• Approximately 15 patients per shift

    

Night Shift

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

    

• Multiple night coverage opportunities available

    

• Independent practice required for one night position

    

• Start Date: January 1, 2027

    

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts

    

• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day for APPs

    

• Clinical Setting: 259-bed hospital

    

• EMR: Epic

    

• Procedures: None required

    

• ICU: Closed ICU, with some patients boarding in the ICU

    

• Night Admissions: Approximately 8–12 per night across the hospitalist service

    

• Team Structure: Work alongside physicians and residents as applicable

    

• Board certification required

    

• Hospital medicine or inpatient experience preferred

    

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

    

• Ability to collaborate with physicians and residents

    

• Must be comfortable practicing independently for the designated night position

    

• Standard credentialing timeline: approximately 3–4 months

    

• Temporary privileges may be available after approximately 2 months of basic credentialing

    

• Multiple day and night shift options

    

• Consistent 12-hour scheduling

    

• No procedures required
