What You’ll Do
- Provide OB triage and emergency management
- Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal and C-section births
- Assist with surgical procedures and unassigned patient care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a private OB hospitalist model
- Offer consults in the Emergency Department
- Support backup call for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) who are surgical first assist trained
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and communication
What You Need
Required:
- Board-Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active Texas Medical License and DEA
- At least 50 vaginal deliveries and 10 C-sections in the past year
Preferred:
- Experience in a high-volume labor and delivery setting
- Strong collaborative skills and surgical assist experience

Beaumont’s advanced Women’s Service Program features 19 private labor and delivery rooms and 34 mother-baby recovery rooms, with 24/7 anesthesia coverage and surgical services. The role offers a dynamic, team-oriented environment dedicated to patient-centered care in a modern hospital setting.
