What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a floating basis across affiliated hospital units
- Administer medications, IV starts, and monitor telehealth and EPIC systems
- Respond to patient needs, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Engage in patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members during nights and weekend shifts
- Adapt to float requirements to other OSU-affiliated hospitals expected within a 5-6 minute walk
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- 1+ year of hospital RN experience, preferably in a tele-epic and IV start setting
Preferred:
- Experience in a PCU or similar telemetry unit
- Ability to float and adapt quickly to different hospital units
