What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular ICU patients, including post-operative heart surgery patients and those with heart failure
- Use clinical judgment to diagnose and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient response during critical phases of recovery
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations
- Support research initiatives and clinical trials in the cardiology department
What You Need:
- Valid RN license in Michigan or current state with reciprocity
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Experience in ICU, Cardiology, or Cardiovascular care preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to fast-paced, high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
