What You’ll Do
- Monitor patient vital signs and heart rhythms using automated equipment like EKGs
- Care for acutely ill patients, often transitioning from intensive care units
- Provide direct patient care with a focus on cardiac and serious health conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient data accurately and timely
- Respond to emergent patient needs quickly and effectively
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Michigan or a compact state
- Previous experience in telemetry, cardiac care, or step-down units preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
