   Requirements:

  

    
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them is NOT an option)

    
• BLS

    
• ACLS

    
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry/Med Surg required (must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be immediately terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be immediately terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient)

    
• 3+ years of experience

  

  

   Duties & Responsibilities:

  

    
• RN will primarily work on 1S Observation unit)

    
• Will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units (Respiratory, Stroke, Cardiac, etc.) and possibly the ED as well if appropriately skilled/knowledgeable.

    
• 36 hours/week, day shift (7a-7:30p) with every other weekend required.

    
• Taking call would be a very rare occurrence.
