JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience
• Epic experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIH certification required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide safe, effective, patient- and family-centered nursing care.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments according to policy or patient condition.
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
• Provide and coordinate patient and family education throughout the hospital stay and at discharge.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor to other staff members as assigned.
• Promote teamwork, quality, safety, and service excellence.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and Practice Governance activities.
