   Requirements:
  

    
• 2+ years of experience
    
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is required (refresher classes or having someone sit 1:1 with them are NOT options), so please ensure that this is documented in the referral information.
    
• Active BLS and Ohio LPN license are both required.
    
• IV certification is required.
    
• Minimum 2 years of current/recent hospital experience is required.
    
• Must be able to manage a patient load of 5 patients with RN oversight.
    
• Must be able to read Telemetry; they will be tested for this skill on day one and will be terminated if they cannot pass the competency; will also be terminated if we discover they are not Epic proficient.
    
• Every third weekend required.
  

  
   Duties & Responsibilities:
  

    
• LPN will work primarily on the Medical Surgical/Observation units and will also float occasionally between various Med-Surg units as needed (Surgical, Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, etc.).
