What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate all surgical instruments, including drills, scopes, and DaVinci devices
- Assemble instruments for all service lines, such as trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Perform sterilization using Sterrad and steam processes
- Manage HLD and scope processing
- Maintain sterile storage protocols
- Act as OR liaison, coordinating with surgical teams
- Use Censitrac tracking system for instrument management
- Utilize Medivator equipment, with experience preferred
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sterilization standards in a high-volume trauma setting
What You Need
Required:
- Certification: CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA/IAHCSMM
- Experience: Previous sterile processing in a busy hospital environment
- Skills: Knowledge of sterilization, decontamination, and instrument assembly
Preferred:
- Medivator experience (rated 1-4 by candidate)
- OR liaison experience
- Experience with Censitrac or similar tracking systems

This assignment involves working in a fast-paced, Level One trauma hospital, supporting the surgical services department with sterilization, instrument processing, and supply coordination. The role is vital to ensuring operating rooms are fully stocked with sterile instruments, adhering to strict safety standards, and maintaining efficient surgical workflows.
