What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate all surgical items including drills, scopes, and Da Vinci instruments
- Assemble all instruments across various service lines (trauma, loaners, peel packaging)
- Operate sterilization processes using sterilizers and steam
- Handle high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing
- Manage sterile storage areas and organize instruments efficiently
- Collaborate with operating room staff as a liaison
- Utilize Censitrac tracking system to ensure accurate instrument tracking
What You Need
Required:
- Valid certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA or IAHCSMM)
- Experience with Medivator systems (self-rated scale of 1-4, include in submission)
- Prior experience in a busy trauma or Level One trauma facility preferred
- Ability to work daytime hours, Monday through Friday
Preferred:
- Experience with all areas of sterile processing including decontamination, sterilization, and instrument assembly
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
