What You’ll Do
- Collect and prepare blood samples using skin puncture and venipuncture techniques
- Verify patient information and label specimens accurately
- Assist medical technologists and pathologists with laboratory tests
- Maintain laboratory equipment and records according to accreditation standards
- Ensure safety by following infection control and hazardous waste protocols
- Document specimen and patient data in lab information systems
- Support laboratory operations and team collaboration
What You Need
- Valid Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license
- Prior experience in blood collection and specimen processing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to work afternoon shifts effectively
