What You’ll Do
- Provide trauma call coverage every weekend from Friday morning to Monday morning.
- Manage inpatient and emergency department urology cases.
- Perform advanced urologic procedures including endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, and more.
- Support hospital with general urology services for adults and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with onsite support staff including RN's, APP’s, and anesthesia.
- Complete required EMR training via EPIC prior to your first shift.
- Assist with urgent cases such as nephrolithotomy, prostatectomy, ureteroscopy, and biopsies.
- Participate in on-call duties and respond to emergent urology patients.
What You Need
Required:
- Colorado medical license in good standing
- Proven experience in general urology, including adult and pediatric cases
- Ability to work entire weekend coverage (Friday to Monday) with flexibility for callback hours
- EMR training completion (EPIC experience preferred)
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced procedures such as pelvic node dissection or robotic surgery
- Familiarity with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, penile prosthesis, and ESWL
- Prior trauma or emergency coverage experience
