Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Inpatient Cardiology Consultations
Provide Hospital-Based Cardiac Testing Coverage
Perform and Interpret Cardiac Stress Tests
Interpret Cardiac Graphics and Diagnostic Studies
Perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Perform Direct Current Cardioversion (DCCV)
Evaluate and Manage Hospitalized Cardiology Patients
Provide Cardiovascular Consultations for Inpatient Services
Respond to Cardiology Telephone Consultations During Call
Provide Emergency Onsite Cardiology Evaluation When Required
Coordinate Patient Care With Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
Document Clinical Findings and Procedures in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease - Required
Active Maine Medical License or Active IMLC Letter of Qualification - Required
At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Cardiology
Epic EMR Experience - Required
Must Be Proficient in TEE and DCCV
Must Be Comfortable Providing Cardiac Stress Testing Coverage
Must Be Comfortable Interpreting Cardiac Diagnostic Studies
Must Be Experienced in Inpatient Cardiology Consultations
Must Be Available for Weeknight and Weekend Call Coverage
Must Be Willing to Provide Onsite Coverage When Clinically Necessary
COVID-19 Vaccination - Required

Must Be Credentialed With the Presenting Agency
