Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Inpatient Psychiatric Care
Conduct Daily Inpatient Psychiatric Rounds
Evaluate and Manage Adult Psychiatric Patients
Perform Psychiatric Assessments
Manage Psychiatric Admissions
Develop and Implement Psychiatric Treatment Plans
Monitor Patient Progress and Response to Treatment
Coordinate Patient Care With the Inpatient Behavioral Health Team
Document Patient Evaluations and Treatment Plans in Epic
Collaborate With Other Physicians and Clinical Staff

Requirements
Active Oregon Medical License - Required
IMLC Accepted
BLS - Required
At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Psychiatry
Recent Inpatient or Consultative Psychiatry Experience - Required
Epic EMR Experience - Preferred
Must Be Comfortable Managing Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Patients
Must Be Comfortable Performing Psychiatric Rounds and Admissions
Must Be Available for 11-Hour Day Shifts
Must Be Comfortable With Tuesday-Monday Coverage Blocks
Influenza Vaccination - Required Unless Approved Medical or Religious Exemption
COVID-19 Vaccination - Not Required

Clinical Activity / Case Log Requirements
Must Demonstrate Inpatient or Consultative Services for at Least 30 Patients Within the Past 24 Months

Alternatively, Completion of a Hospital-Affiliated Accredited Residency, Special Clinical Fellowship, or Research Within the Past 12 Months May Qualify

Recent Residency Graduates Must Provide Residency Case Logs

Candidates Not Applying Directly Out of Residency Must Provide a Hospital Quality Profile Documenting Clinical Activity During the Past 24 Months
