Hospice/Palliative Care Physician – Lake Saint Louis, MO

What You’ll Do:
- Provide hospice and palliative care to adult patients, including admissions, eligibility assessments, and recertifications
- Conduct symptom management consultations and medication prescribing
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during bi-weekly meetings
- Oversee clinical documentation and death certifications
- Participate in rotating call coverage (telephone-only, weekly basis)
- Support patients and families with compassionate end-of-life care
What You Need:
Required:
- Board certification in hospice and palliative medicine or internal medicine with hospice experience
- MO state medical license
- DEA license (likely required)
- Hospice experience is strongly preferred
Preferred:
- Internal medicine or hospitalist background with hospice experience
About the Assignment:
This role involves working with a dedicated hospice team providing comprehensive home-based and facility care for adult patients. The position is primarily remote, supported by nursing staff for in-person visits and death pronouncements.
