What You’ll Do
- Provide face-to-face inpatient physiatry care within 24 hours of admission
- Conduct daily rounding and patient consults on a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit
- Participate in scheduled team conferences (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
- Manage adult rehab patients with 10-20 patients per day
- Document care per CMS guidelines and perform post-admission evaluations
- Prescribe medications, complete discharge summaries, and update weekly care plans
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:
- Valid BLS certification
- Experience with adult inpatient rehab (preferred)
- Ability to conduct face-to-face patient evaluations and documentation
Preferred:
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Knowledge of CMS documentation requirements
