What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process within state and professional standards
- Assess patient needs and implement effective teaching strategies for patients and families
- Delegate and coordinate activities among licensed and ancillary staff
- Use data and clinical judgment to evaluate and improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local laws, and accreditation standards
- Support unit and organizational goals through professional practice and leadership
What You Need
Required:
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Proficiency in using healthcare software and applications
- Effective communication skills
Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher
