What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care for surgical oncology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and plastics patients
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, IV antibiotics, and other treatments
- Manage oncologic emergencies and cytokine release syndrome
- Follow infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Float within scope of practice as needed in a busy surgical and oncology unit
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience, including 1+ year in PCU
- Strong clinical skills in oncology and med-surg care
Preferred:
- ONS Chemo certification
- Experience with computerized charting systems (Epic preferred)
