What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process within established standards and regulations
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Delegate tasks appropriately to licensed and ancillary staff
- Educate patients and families on health management and procedures
- Document care activities accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and hospital policies
What You Need
- Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty
- Proficiency in electronic health records and related software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
