What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care for emergency department patients during night shifts
- Conduct initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on age and symptoms
- Re-assess patient condition to monitor progress and modify care plans accordingly
- Develop and implement personalized, measurable care plans within established standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and families, delivering health education and discharge instructions
- Document timely interventions and evaluate patient outcomes
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures as needed
What You Need
Required:
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (or less for CN I level)
- Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and patient-centered care
Preferred:
- CPI certification highly preferred
- Additional nursing education (B.S.N., MSN)
