Physician Assistant - General Surgery & Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery in Richland, WA

Quick Facts

- Duration: Two weeks per month (January 2027 schedule)
- Shift: 7a-7p or 7p-7a (availability for either shift required)
- Hours/week: 12 hours/day (guaranteed), up to 14 shifts per month
- Employment Type: Locum
- Licenses/Certs: Active or IMLC license, DEA, Board Certified in specialty
- Experience: Pediatric surgery proficiency required

What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient trauma surgery coverage at a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma center
- Consult on pediatric surgical cases, including HMP or endoscopic appendectomies
- Cover scheduled shifts during January 2027, including open Trauma II shifts
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient care continuity
- Participate in patient assessments, surgical procedures, and post-operative care
- Ensure compliance with all medical and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
What You Need
Required:
- Active or IMLC medical license
- DEA license
- Board Certification in specialty
- Ability to perform pediatric surgeries
Preferred:
- Experience in trauma surgery or pediatric surgical procedures
