What You’ll Do
- Provide quality patient care to diverse adult patient populations in a hospital setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and health maintenance
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant RN experience
- Ability to work night shifts and flexibility for holiday coverage
- Comfortable with emergency team assignments and potential extended shifts
Preferred:
- PALS certification (due to low pediatric patient population)
- Experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units
