  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

    
• Licenses: Active Virginia license and DEA

    
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required

    
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

    
• Experience: Residency trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

  

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

    
• Provide day rounding coverage for hospitalized patients at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital, including admissions, daily management, and discharges.

    
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day.

    
• Coordinate care with off-site specialists and intensivists as needed, given no onsite specialty backup outside ICU.

    
• Document patient care activities in EPIC EMR and participate in Valley Health training modules and orientation.

    
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure safe, timely, and effective patient care.
