We are seeking a skilled Cardiologist Physician for a 130-day assignment in New York. Our client offers a Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility for four 10-hour shifts and outpatient clinic starting at 10 AM on consult days. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, outpatient appointments, performing readings, and managing acute cardiac conditions and consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform inpatient rounding and outpatient appointments.
• Conduct readings for various cardiac studies.
• Read Pacemakers, Defibrillators, and Echos; training can be provided if needed.
• Manage acute cardiac conditions including Heart Attack Recovery in the CCU, unstable angina, heart failure exacerbations, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac intervention management.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Provide cardiology consults for evaluation of chest pain, assessment of heart murmurs, management of hypertension, diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias, workup for syncope, and pre-operative cardiac evaluations.
• Execute various procedures and studies.

• Staffing Mix: 2 Physicians, 3 Advanced Practice Providers (no supervision duties), and nursing staff.
