Job Title: Cardiac Anesthesiologist (Physician)

Location: York, PA | Hospital

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts (7:00?17:00); night beeper call coverage (5:00 PM?7:00 AM) with post-call day off or first release the following day (approximately 11:00 AM); approximately 3 call shifts per week; some shifts may be 10-hour day shifts only

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas, with a focus on cardiac anesthesiology

Collaborate with surgeons and specialty clinicians in a large, 593-bed hospital with a Level I Trauma designation

Manage diverse and complex patient populations across all age groups

Provide anesthesia services across varying anesthetizing locations, with patient volume dependent on assignment

Document clinical care and maintain accurate records using Epic EMR

Participate in night beeper call coverage as scheduled, approximately 3 times per week

Required Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist

Active Pennsylvania (PA) medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) must be in hand at time of submission

ACLS and PALS certifications required

Minimum of 2 years of anesthesiology experience preferred

Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days; expedited credentialing may be available for clean files with leadership approval

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Experience with cardiac and complex surgical cases

Familiarity with Epic EMR

Experience working in high-acuity, Level I Trauma hospital environments
