What You’ll Do:
- Decontaminate all surgical items, including drills, Da Vinci instruments, and scopes
- Assemble instruments across all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packaging
- Operate sterilization processes (Sterrad and steam)
- Handle high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope processing
- Manage sterile storage and inventory
- Serve as an OR liaison when necessary
- Track instruments and supplies using Censitrac system
What You Need:
- Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (via HSPA or IAHCSMM)
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume facility similar to OSU
- Knowledge of decontamination, sterilization, and inventory management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to float to other locations as needed

Join a Level One trauma hospital with a high-volume surgical department in Columbus, Ohio. This role requires comprehensive experience across all areas of sterile processing, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and high-level disinfection. You will be an integral part of a collaborative team ensuring surgical instruments are prepared safely and efficiently.
