What You’ll Do
- Independently perform invasive and non-invasive ventilation management
- Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and assist with airway management, including intubations
- Set up and operate various respiratory care equipment for diagnosis & treatment
- Work with pediatric to geriatric patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (Cerner)
- Provide respiratory therapy in a critical access hospital setting
What You Need
- Required:
- Valid RRT license in Vermont
- Proven experience in respiratory therapy, particularly in hospital settings
- Preferred:
- Experience with ventilation and airway procedures
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
