What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate surgical items including drills, DaVinci instruments, scopes, and more
- Assemble instruments across all service lines, including trauma and loaner sets, with peel packing
- Perform sterilization using Sterrad and steam processes
- Handle high-level disinfection (HLD) for scopes
- Manage sterile storage and inventory tracking, utilizing Censitrac system
- Collaborate with OR staff as an efficient liaison for sterilization needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of all surgical instruments and tools
What You Need
Required:
- Valid certification: CBSPD or CRCST (HSPA) preferred
- Experience with Medivator systems (rate yourself on a scale of 1-4 in submission)
- Previous sterile processing experience in a fast-paced hospital environment, ideally in trauma centers
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and scope handling
Preferred:
- Experience with Censitrac Tracking System
- Familiarity with OR liaison duties and high-level disinfection procedures
