What You’ll Do
- Provide Level 1 trauma surgical coverage for adult and geriatric patients
- Manage emergent surgeries, including vascular trauma and ruptured aneurysms
- Conduct inpatient rounds and consults on hospital cases
- Assist with some outpatient clinic duties related to vascular surgery as needed
- Respond promptly to paged emergencies, including managing urgent and emergent cases
- Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with hospital staff and other specialists to ensure patient care quality
What You Need
- Valid medical license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in vascular surgery
- Proven competence in emergent vascular procedures such as trauma and aneurysm repair
- Strong decision-making skills, flexibility, and ability to handle trauma cases effectively
- Proficiency in Epic EMR preferred
Preferred: Prior Level 1 trauma experience and outpatient clinic coverage skills.
