Details:
•  Location: Orange County, California
•  Duration: December – June (option to extend)
•  Schedule: Flexible 1-2 weeks per month (7 day block)
•  Hours: Monday 8am – Monday 8am
•  Call: 24-hour call
•  Scope: Cardiology General – clinic in the morning, inpatient cardiology in the afternoons to include, rounds, consults, stat EKGs, stabilize and transfer any patients needing intervention. Last patient seen at 5p each day and will hold until the next morning.
•  Volume: 10 per day in clinic, 1 stress test, 3 new consults, 5 follow ups per day
•  EMR: EPIC
•  Hospital: 70 beds, 8 bed ICU
•  Group/support: ICU, Hospitalist, Surgeons
•  Credentialing: 30-45 days
•  Require: Board Certified, Active CA License and DEA, available to cover at least 1 week per month (7 day block), drive-in candidates preferred
