We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician for a 7-day assignment in Arizona, beginning Nov 24, 2024. The schedule involves 7A-7P shifts. This role requires comprehensive patient care, including managing a wide range of inpatient cases and providing essential support to the ICU team, such as assisting with procedures like blood draws.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, managing all aspects of hospitalist cases.
• Be prepared to handle a variety of patient conditions, adapting to resource limitations within the community.
• Provide support for ICU patients, assisting the ICU team with tasks such as blood draws, without direct ICU management.
• Manage direct admissions from surgical and outpatient settings, as well as transfers from outlying facilities.
• Conduct patient consultations and rounds.
• Address cases including cardiovascular issues, infectious diseases, endocrine/renal conditions, pulmonary issues, gastrointestinal issues, post-surgical management, alcohol withdrawal, delirium, heart failure, and the management of vasoactive, heparin, and insulin drips (co-managed with the ICU group).
• Handle typical admissions such as pneumonia and respiratory infections.
