JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: BC/BE within 3-5 yrs post residency
- Licenses: Active California License
- DEA
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum of a few years of experience in interventional cardiology; new graduates not considered.
- At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
- Active Fluoro certification, NUC reading ability
- Current number of case logs
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology coverage on a call-only basis, including 24-hour beeper call.
- Manage inpatient interventional cardiology cases and respond to emergency consults.
- Perform nuclear cardiology reading and NUC activity as needed.
- Deliver both interventional (75%) and noninvasive (25%) cardiology care.
- Maintain active fluoro certification and respond to calls within 20 minutes.
