  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA)

    
• Licenses: Active unrestricted Texas medical license

    
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Texas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 required

    
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS required

    
• Experience: Active Emergency Department practice within past 12 months; 100 ED procedures in past 2 years

    
• Other Qualifications: Residency in ACGME/AOA accredited Emergency Medicine program; case logs for past 2 years; completion of specific CME courses prior to orientation

  

  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  

  

    
• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.

    
• Manage and stabilize acute medical conditions, including trauma, medical emergencies, and critical care.

    
• Perform required procedures including moderate and deep sedation.

    
• Collaborate with NP/PA providers and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.

    
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
