What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patient function through formal and informal testing measures
- Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
- Submit and update treatment regimes, coordinating with physicians and clinical staff
- Schedule and implement treatment sessions, adjusting as needed
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationale
- Collaborate with team members to deliver patient-centered care
- Maintain documentation aligned with physical therapy standards and policies
What You Need
Required:
- Valid license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Relevant outpatient therapy experience
Preferred:
- Strong assessment and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
About the Assignment
This outpatient position is focused on delivering patient-centered physical therapy care, utilizing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to improve patient outcomes. You will be responsible for evaluating patient function, creating tailored treatment plans, and educating patients and their families, all within a supportive team environment.
