What You’ll Do
- Independently perform respiratory care procedures, including invasive interventions, across various hospital units and critical care areas
- Assess patient needs based on physician orders and deliver prescribed therapies
- Evaluate and respond to patient responses, making adjustments for optimal outcomes
- Communicate effectively with the clinical team, providing recommendations on respiratory care
- Respond promptly to changes in workload, prioritizing patient safety and care quality
- Assist in education and support for patients and families regarding respiratory treatments
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
What You Need
- Valid CRT or RRT license in Kansas
- Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong understanding of respiratory care equipment and procedures
- Excellent assessment and communication skills
