What You’ll Do
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Conduct assessments of patient progress and communicate findings for treatment plan adjustments.
- Administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive/supportive devices.
- Document all services accurately in electronic health records according to regulatory standards.
- Support and supervise students as part of the clinical team.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families on treatment goals and discharge planning.
- Participate in facility and company meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay current with best practices.
What You Need
Required:
- Active State Licensure/Registration
- Prior experience in Long Term Care settings
Preferred:
- Knowledge of clinical procedures related to occupational therapy
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities
