**Position Overview**

JR Enterprise (JRE) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician in Internal Medicine or Family Practice for an anticipated outpatient contract serving Veterans in Mankato, Minnesota.

This full-time, onsite 1099 opportunity is subject to contract award and successful credentialing. The physician will manage approximately 1,000 patients, seeing up to 14 scheduled patients plus up to 4 walk-ins daily. Duties are approximately 90% direct patient care and 10% administrative work.

**Compensation & Contract**

- $165/hour, 1099
- 1 FTE
- One base year with two optional one-year extensions
- Consistent provider coverage throughout the assignment preferred

**Schedule**

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Central Time
- No call, nights, weekends, or federal holiday coverage
- Fully onsite; not a telehealth position

**Qualifications**

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- Current medical license from any U.S. state
- Current DEA registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to deliver comprehensive outpatient care within a multidisciplinary team
- Availability for consistent onsite coverage

**License Requirements**

A Minnesota-specific license is not required under the stated position requirements. All credentials are subject to verification and applicable contract and VA credentialing and privileging requirements.

**Responsibilities**

- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Manage an established patient panel and scheduled and walk-in visits.
- Develop treatment plans, order and interpret tests, and manage medications.
- Provide preventive care and chronic disease management.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete administrative duties.
- Participate in weekly Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) meetings.
- Support continuity of care and meet applicable VA clinical and performance standards.

**Clinic & Practice Setting**

The Lyle C. Pearson VA clinic serves Veterans in southern Minnesota as part of Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Physicians work within the team-based PACT model with VA clinical and administrative support.

Minneapolis VA reported a five-star CMS Overall Hospital Quality rating in 2026. This is the parent hospital’s rating, not a separate rating for the Mankato clinic.
