Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Pediatric Hospitalist Coverage for Labor & Delivery
Perform Newborn Assessments
Evaluate and Manage Newborn Patients
Review Newborn Hearing Screening Results
Review Laboratory and Blood Test Results
Provide Newborn Care During Hospitalization
Respond to Labor & Delivery Notifications
Assess Newborns Following Delivery
Manage Routine Newborn Care Needs
Respond to Pediatric and Newborn Clinical Concerns
Coordinate Care With Labor & Delivery Staff
Collaborate With Obstetricians, Nurses, and Anesthesia Providers
Document Patient Evaluations and Care in Meditech
