Jackson and Coker is seeking a Locum Psychiatrist for an immediate need with a community health program. This is a full time, onsite opportunity providing outpatient psychiatric care to adults within an ACT and FSP program.
Details/Requirements:
-- Locum Psychiatrist need with the opportunity to come onsite
-- Full time, 40 hours per week
-- Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
-- 100% onsite
-- Adults only
-- Outpatient setting
-- ACT and FSP program
-- Approximately 6 to 8 patients per day
-- One hour new patient evaluations
-- 30 minute follow ups
-- 3 to 6 month assignment
-- ASAP start
Assignment Overview
--This program currently seeking a Locum Psychiatrist who can provide consistent, reliable coverage while they continue working toward a permanent hire.
--The anticipated start is as soon as possible. Due to the interview, background check and clearance process, the realistic start timeframe is approximately 45 to 60 days. Credentialing can be expedited and may take only a couple of weeks, while the background and clearance process typically takes the longest.
--There is also potential for the locum provider to transition into the permanent full time position if it is a good fit for both the physician and program.
Responsibilities
--The Psychiatrist will direct medical treatment for members served within the scope of their Psychiatrist licensure and work collaboratively with program staff and members served.
--The Psychiatrist will also participate in program leadership by supporting high quality medical practices that meet licensure requirements, payer standards, client needs and community expectations.
