Nocturnist Physician Locums Job | Ongoing Hospital Coverage in California

Join a well-supported hospital medicine team seeking a Nocturnist for ongoing night coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collegial environment with APP support, specialty backup, and a manageable admissions volume.

Details/Requirements:
--Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
--Flexible scheduling with rotating coverage
--Additional day shift opportunities may also be available
--Epic EMR
--Average privileging timeline

Clinical Responsibilities
--Primary focus on admissions
--Second physician primarily cross-covers
--APP support available until 9:00 PM
--Average of 6-10 admissions per night
--Responds to codes
--Open ICU environment, but no ICU procedures required
--No procedures required
--Specialty backup available at all times

Preferred Qualifications
--Hospitalist/Nocturnist experience
--Experience caring for cancer and Hematology/Oncology patients preferred, but not required
