Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Inpatient Interventional Cardiology Coverage
Respond to Emergency STEMI Activations
Evaluate and Manage Patients With Acute Coronary Conditions
Provide Emergency Interventional Cardiology Services
Respond to Inpatient Cardiology Consultations
Participate in STEMI and Unassigned Cardiology Call Coverage
Provide Noninvasive Cardiology Coverage as Scheduled
Perform Inpatient Rounding When Assigned
Evaluate Patients Requiring Urgent Cardiac Intervention
Respond to Telephone Consultations During Call
Provide In-Hospital Emergency Callbacks When Necessary
Coordinate Patient Care With Other Interventional Cardiologists
Document Patient Evaluations, Procedures, and Treatment Plans in Epic

Requirements

Interventional Cardiology Training and Experience
At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Interventional Cardiology
Experience Managing Acute STEMI Cases
Ability to Provide Emergency Interventional Cardiology Coverage
Comfortable With Weekday and Weekend Call
Ability to Respond to Emergency Cardiology Consultations and Callbacks
Comfortable Managing Adult and Geriatric Cardiology Patients
Ability to Perform Inpatient Rounding When Assigned
Ability to Work Collaboratively With Other Interventional Cardiologists
Availability for the Requested Coverage Dates
