Pathology Locums Job in North Carolina l 2027 Coverage
A well-established pathology group is seeking a board certified or board eligible Pathologist to provide locums coverage throughout 2027. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team with an efficient workflow. Details/Requirements for Assignment #117688:
-- Current caseload averages about 60 surgical, 7 non-gyn cytology and 5 FNA cases per day (smears, ThinPreps, cell blocks)
-- Types of cases: GI biopsies, GYN biopsies, skin biopsies, prostate biopsies, bladder biopsies, laryngeal biopsies, breast biopsies, lung biopsies (for tumor), appendix, tonsils, neuro, sinuses, gallbladders, hernias, mastectomies, colon resections, hysterectomies (benign and malignant), breast lumpectomies, amputations, placentas, thyroid lobectomies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, pancreas/Whipple procedures, lung resections, orchiectomies; Some peripheral blood smear reviews; semen morphology (rare)
