Details:
- Location: near San Jose, CA
- Duration: January – April (option to extend)
- Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month - Rotating blocks: option for one or the other: either Mon-Thurs (Mon, 7a–Fri, 7a) or Fri-Sun (Fri, 7a – Mon, 7a)
-Shift: 7a-7a (daily rounding/consults + night call)
- Call: Nights, 7p-7a pager call
- Scope: Critical Care Management - Med/surg ICU management (option for pulmonary consults if pulmonary trained)
- Procedures: independent management of ventilated and shock patients, central and arterial lines, airway management and point-of-care ultrasound (Bronchoscopy experience is preferred for the pulmonary line)
- EMR: Epic
- Support: no APP
- Affiliated Hospital: 208 general beds, 16 bed ICU, no trauma
- Credentialing timeline: 45 days
- Require: BC in CCM, Fellowship trained in critical care medicine, managed med/surg ICU within the last 12 months, CA license, CA DEA, ACLS
