Emergency Nurse Practitioner

Overview

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for an onsite assignment in an emergency department setting.

Schedule

APP coverage need noted as 12 hours daily in the Order description

Flexible scheduling based on department needs (per Order description)

Responsibilities

Provide emergency department coverage in a collaborative practice environment

Document patient encounters and care in the electronic medical record

Requirements

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Active, unrestricted Tennessee RN license and Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license

Prescriptive authority required

AANP or ANCC board certification required

Active DEA registration with a Tennessee address (per Order requirements)

Active ACLS and PALS certifications required

Credentialing Requirements

Documentation of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or positive immunity titers

TB testing per facility requirements (two-step TB or QuantiFERON Gold accepted per Order description)

Case logs from the previous two years required (per Order description)
