General Surgery Locums Job in Colorado | 24 Hour Call | Beginning December 1 - Ongoing | Assignment #117758
Coverage Details
-- December 1 (7a) – December 7 (7a)
-- December 16 (7a) – December 24 (7a)
-- Ongoing dates begin January when schedules are released
-- Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days
Shift Details
-- 24-hour call coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
-- Volume: 6-10 shifts per month
-- Average Callback Hours: 4.5 Hours
Requirements
-- Board Certified in General Surgery
-- Active Colorado license or active IMLC LOQ in hand at time of submission
-- Active ATLS
-- Minimum 2 years of experience
-- Clean malpractice and background history
-- Locan Candidate - Highly Preferred
-- Active BLS - Highly Preferred
-- Active DEA - Highly Preferred (required for credentialing; transferred DEA must be maintained for duration of assignment)
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Bread and Butter General Surgery
-- Potential for emergent endoscopies
Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient (Level 4 Trauma Center, 25 beds)
-- Daily census / admissions: 0-1
-- Patient population: Adolescent, adult, geriatric
-- EMR: Epic
