Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope
Perform high-complexity, core tertiary-level Interventional Radiology procedures, including:

TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt)
Embolizations (trauma, tumor, GI, pelvic, visceral)
Bone biopsies
Paracenteses, thoracenteses, drainages, and vascular access
Interpret IR vascular imaging & CTA runoffs between procedural cases.
Provide clinical direction and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Provide routine IR on-call coverage and cover one designated holiday per calendar year.

Candidate Requirements
Education & Training: ACGME-accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology with formal Interventional Radiology (IR) Fellowship or Integrated IR residency.
Clinical Acuity: Proven track record in high-acuity, core tertiary IR (non-community hospital setting).
Board Certification: Active Board Certification (ABR/AOBR) with Subspecialty Certification in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (VIR / IR-DR).
Malpractice & Licensing: Ability to secure or verify 5M/5M malpractice liability insurance and a clean background file for expedited 60-day temporary privileging.
Tech Stack: Working proficiency with RPCE and Mosaiq platforms.
